Want attention from NFL Scouts? Try YouTube

Terez, I'm not as good out of water..

If you’re a departing senior at a smaller school or non-traditional football powerhouse, it can be hard to get noticed by NFL scouts. So a number of those players, still hoping for a professional football career, have done the next best thing. Record their athletic feats and post them on YouTube. San Jose State defensive end Jarron Gilbert wasn’t a big name, before he was picked in the third round of last year’s NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, but he did have a YouTube video showing him jumping out a pool onto the pool deck with no hands. That’s just one of a number of examples of lesser known players using YouTube as a tool to showcase their talent. –Los Angeles Times

The videos are great, but unfortunately jumping out of a pool isn’t a sport..To see Jarron jump out of the pool take the jump. -TO
