After serving 18 months in federal prison, embattled Falcons quarterback Michael Vick is set to start home confinement Wednesday. He will serve two months of home confinement at his 3,500-square-foot brick house in Hampton, Va. before being released from federal custody in July.“He is still confined in Leavenworth,” said Traci Billingsley on Tuesday, a media information officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. She could not provide any details of Vick’s release. Details of Vick’s pending release should be available later tonight.In August of 2007, Vick pleaded guilty for his role in a dogfighting operation.Federal officials keep track of inmates on home confinement through electronic monitoring equipment the inmates must wear, by meetings or random telephone calls. -Atlanta Journal Constitution
