US Senator asks MLB players to Skip Phoenix All-Star Game

May 11, 2010 at 1:02 pm by Terez in Major League Baseball

I swear to boycott the allstar game in Phoenix Terez..

The only Latino in the U.S. Senate wants Major League Baseball players to boycott the 2011 All- Star Game in Phoenix in protest  of Arizona’s recently passed immigration law..Robert Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat is a fan of the All Star weekend festivities, but since the game is in Phoenix next year..he’s not feeling it..Menendez wrote a letter today to the MLBPA ..it reads ““The Arizona law is offensive to Hispanics and all Americans because it codifies racial profiling into law by requiring police to question anyone who appears to be in the country illegally” ..unfortunately the show must go on Senator..there has to be a better way to change the law besides boycotting an exhibition baseball game.
