Transgender teenage boy wins girls wrestling championship despite parents’ attempts to ban him from competing. Mack Beggs won the girls 110-pound championship in Euless, Texas. The 17-year-old began taking steroids in 2015 to transition from female to male. Parents in the district say it is unsafe for the other girls to compete against him. Some have filed a lawsuit against the league for ‘putting them at risk of harm’. They claim Mack, who lives with his grandmother, has an unfair advantage. He says all of the teenagers are happy competing and ‘just want to wrestle’ Not sure how fair this is. The system is clearly broken.-TO
