The Warriors-Spurs Game Was So Bad The Announcers Discussed Sippy Cups During It

The Golden State Warriors rested players against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night, despite the fact that the Spurs have all but caught them in the Western Conference standings.  Not to mention the fact that the Spurs had several players out of their lineup due to injury.  At 52-14 Golden State handed San Antonio a 107-85 win and another game in the win column, putting their record at 51-14.  The lousy game had the NBA on ESPN announcers talking sippy cups and Jeff Van Gundy dropping this knowledge about them, “This thing teaches young people how to use their mouth muscles.”  You can’t blow a 3-1 lead in the Finals again if you don’t make it to the Finals.- TO
