Report: Manu Ginobili ‘seriously considering’ Retirement

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Ginoboli is planning to meet with Spurs coach Gregg Popovich this week and is “seriously considering retirement.” Ginobili has not yet made a decision, and the Spurs are reportedly willing to let him take as much time as he needs. Ginobili, 41, is under contract for $2.5 million next season and proved that he was still able to produce in 2017-18. He appeared in 65 games and averaged 8.9 points and 2.5 assists while playing just 20.0 minutes per game. Ginobili is the second-oldest active NBA player right now behind Vince Carter, but he has been an important part of a Spurs franchise that has won multiple championships. – TO
