New iPhone app named ‘TigerText’ after Tiger Woods

How does this work now Terez..I hit # then delete..

Texts that self-destruct once they have been read are set to help love rats such as Tiger Woods and Ashley Cole cover up their cheating. The new application for the iPhone – coincidentally called TigerText – allows senders to put a timed delete on messages. It then wipes forever the message from the mobile that sent it, the receiving handset and server. Shamed golfer Woods is no doubt wishing the $1.60-a-month app was available before his racy texts to mistresses including Rachel Uchitel were revealed.  “It brings safety and peace of mind to anyone who sends messages that are intended to remain private.” The app works only if the sender and recipient both use iPhones and have TigerText installed. Messages look identical to a normal text but content is kept on a server and viewed from there. There is also a “delete on read” facility. It is expected to appeal to politicians, lawyers and businessmen as well as to adulterers.–London Mirror (U.K.)
