A Center For Kids Who Can’t Read Good T..

 This week, Michael Jordan announced he’s donating $500,000 toward promoting literacy in the Charlotte area, an outreach the Hornets owner believes will strengthen educational initiatives. The gift will directly benefit local charities, including construction of 18 libraries at preschools, child care centers and nonprofits in low income areas. Since taking over majority ownership of the Hornets, Jordan and the Hornets have donated over $3 million to benefit education, hunger, and other causes. MJ knows kids need to read if they’re going to be able to afford his shoes.-TO
