I enjoyed betting against the Mets T..

The New York Daily News is reporting Mets clubhouse manager Charlie Samuels is under investigation by the NYPD and the Queens District Attorney’s office for allegedly betting on baseball as part of an organized gambling ring..The clubhouse manager provided inside information as well as tips for friends who also placed bets on games..Samuels is also in trouble for using  his Mets accounts to cover gambling debts..Charlie Samuels was suspended by the Mets last week after an internal investigation revealed he wrote check on Mets accounts and cashed them out to cover his own bills..According to the source, he would repay the loans in two to three weeks..  Samuels is also under investigation for skimming money on the hotel rooms he ordered for players as the team’s traveling secretary..and get this..the dude might have stolen hundreds of bats, balls and jerseys from the team..Samuels has not been arrested yet  and MLB  has declined to comment on whether its office is even investigating Samuels..sounds like a real scumbag..-TO
