Terez, we support our community 100%

The Phoenix Suns will wear “Los Suns” on their jerseys tonight, owner Robert Sarver said, “to honor our Latino community and the diversity of our league, the state of Arizona, and our nation.”  The jerseys on  Cinco de Mayo is not a coincidence..It’s in protest of a law passed by the Arizona Legislation that has drawn widespread criticism from Latino organizations and civil rights groups that think it could lead to racial profiling of Hispanics..The “Los” jerseys have been wore throughout the year by other teams as well..but this time there is a political statement involved..I don’t like to mix politics with sports, but sometimes its unavoidable..Happy Cinco De Mayo. -TO
