Check out this interview with Dan Whitney – better-known as Larry the Cable Guy – taped at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am airs this weekend on the nationally-syndicated interview series, In Depth with Graham Bensinger. Whitney reveals details of his most famous character roles. Whitney walked on to his college baseball team as a pitcher while at the Baptist University of the Americas, and he says he could fire his fastball up to 95 mph: Whitney: “In college, I got the cojones to go out for the baseball team… This is verified by my outfielder and my third basemen.
