Jayson Williams’ estranged wife last night said the former NBA player should seek psychiatric help for the sake of their children. “Jayson should voluntarily admit himself for inpatient treatment so that one day he can be the mentally and emotionally stable father my daughters deserve,” Tanya Young Williams wrote in an e-mail to the Daily News. Earlier this year Tanya Williams accused her husband of adulterous and abusive behavior. Yesterday, she described her marriage to the former New Jersey Net as “tragic and surreal.” It was the first time she publicly addressed his behavior since she filed for divorce in February. Her comments follow Williams’ arrest early Monday morning for allegedly punching Ahmad Nazari, 31, in the face outside a nightclub in Raleigh, N.C. — NY Daily News
