Chicago Blackhawks Saved By Accountant Goalie

The Chicago Blackhawks had no other option but to let an accountant by day put on the pads and try to stop some shots on Thursday night. The NHL has an “emergency backup” set of goalies which can enter a game if either team has no one else healthy. Blackhawks starting goalie, Anton Forsberg, injured himself in a practice skate on Thursday and his backup Collin Delia went down in the third period, so 36 year old Scott Foster got his chance to play. He played for 14 minutes and stopped all 7 shots he faced. – TO
