Arian Foster is a Self Made Man

Arian Foster is a fantasy football superstar, self-made after his breakout 231-yard, three-touchdown performance in the 2010 opener against Indianapolis. Yet he has been doubted his entire life. His attitude — take all criticism personally. He overcame the ridicule of being raised in a multi-cultural home — Foster’s father is African-American and his mother is Mexican-American. As he grew, so did his love of football. But Foster’s high-school coaches didn’t believe he was running-back material, his durability was questioned and he was criticized for fumbling when he played college ball at Tennessee. He was undrafted at the 2009 NFL Draft, teamless until the Houston Texans took a chance on him, placing him on the practice squad. He fought to win the starting job in 2010, and has since been one of the league’s top rushers. With tattoos that read “Self Made,” Adrian Foster narrates his journey to become one of the best running backs in the NFL…He’s beastly. -TO
