Chargers fan gets $280 ticket for throwing football

The cops in San Diego have thrown the flag on parking lot passes. A Chargers fan was handed a $280 ticket last month for violating San Diego Municipal Code 59.0502, which prohibits tossing the football prior to games at Qualcomm Stadium. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Jesse Unger was approached by police before a Chargers-Colts game and was told to stop throwing the ball around. When he did not comply, he was handed the ticket. Unger decided to fight the fine, and the judge dismissed the ticket. Justice served.-TO
